Pack Of Dogs Stolen In Langley (PHOTOS)

LANGLEY, B.C. - A pack of dogs has vanished in Langley, B.C., and police in that Metro Vancouver community hope someone has a tip that can lead them to the dognapper.

RCMP Cpl. Holly Marks says six dogs were taken from the back of a parked pickup truck on Tuesday.

A dog walker was caring for the animals and had just returned from an off-leash area and placed the dogs in the bed of the truck, enclosed with a canopy.

Marks says the woman left for about 10 minutes and when she returned the canopy was unlatched and all six dogs were gone.

They included a pit bull, Boston terrier, Bouvier-poodle cross, border collie, Rottweiler-husky cross and blue heeler-shepherd cross.

Marks says the owners are certain their pets were taken because the canopy was latched when the sitter left but was wide open when she returned.
