When it comes to men's fashion, we tend to think of suits. But as it turns out, there's so much more to a guy's wardrobe than blazers and trousers (though, those are very important).
We've put together a list of some of the top trends for men to hit the runways for spring to help all the guys out there break down the best looks of the season. Sunny weather calls for lots of colour, and we saw plenty of that, plus an array of florals and even all-white suits (for the daring men only).
And while suits were most prevalent, they definitely weren't boring (think bold colours and metallics). Have a look below and check out some of the season's top men's trends for summer.

Men's Summer Fashion Trends
Shades of red were seen all over the men's runways for summer. From bright primary red at Burberry and Louis Vuitton to metallic cherry, as seen at Dolce & Gabbana and Moschino, the fiery shade secured a spot as one of the season's top trends.
A popular fabric in sportswear, mesh took over the men's runways in various ways. At some shows (like Rick Owens), the sheer fabric was used as an accent, while at other shows (like Alexander Wang), mesh shirts were front and centre. It's a seasonally appropriate fabric, though we know it's not for everyone -- if you're into the trend but not sure how to wear it, we suggest easing into it by going with small details before graduating to a see-through shirt.
That's right -- these '80s favourites are back and in a big way. Seen on the runways at Malan Breton, Billy Reid, and Ovaida & Sons, as well as all over street style blogs, the double-breasted blazer appears to have made its summer fashion debut.
For the guys out there who are a little more adventurous with their style, printed blazers are a great way to show off personality. From plaid to florals, and even grids, there really was a pattern for everyone. They're a fun (and welcome) update to the classic blazers in every guy's wardrobe.
Colour blocking has been a trend for a while and it's still going strong for men this summer. It's perfect for those who don't love busy patterns but still appreciate a pop of colour. The trend was seen on the runways of General Idea, Nautica, and David Hart.
Just like red, blue had a major moment on the men's spring/summer 2014 runways. Seen at Dior, M. Margiela, and Calvin Klein, in shades ranging from bright cobalt to royal, blue definitely made its mark.
A white suit isn't the easiest thing to pull off, but this season, designers seem to be encouraging men to rock the trend. Seen at Billy Reid and Diesel Black Gold, the full white suit was anything but boring. The key is playing with textures -- cotton shirts look good with linen, while a t-shirt can balance out a silk jacket.
Floral prints are definitely not just for the ladies anymore! The spring-y print was seen everywhere from Gucci to Prada in the form of shirts, suits, and even shorts. You can rock the trend in so many ways -- go bold with a head to toe floral look, or pair a flower printed shirt with a pair of neutral shorts/pants or under a blazer.
