Boots, The Two-Legged Cat, Can Climb Stairs Like Nobody's Business (VIDEO)

WATCH: Stairs Are No Problem For This Two-Legged Cat

We've seen two-legged animals go to the beach, we've seen them befriend fluffy chickens but we've never seen anything quite like this.

Meet Boots, the double amputee cat, who is proof that you don't need hind legs to climb stairs. The cat's become an internet sensation after Boot's adopted owner, Megan Brocato, posted a video of the cat descending a flight of stairs in a "flying pawstand".

Boots was found when she was just two weeks old. When she and her litter mates were left a local shelter in Denver, Boot was already missing both her hind legs due to an earlier accident, according to Life Is Better, an animal rescue charity. Since then, she's been outfitted with two prosthetic "house slippers" to keep her mobile and avoid the pain of walking on raw nerve endings.

"Sometimes she does it with three legs - like a tripod. I think she thinks she gets down fastest on her front though," Brocato told the paper.

Now that Boots has fully matured, all that's left is some corrective surgery to smooth out the bone from her injuries, BuzzFeed reports.
