Wednesday's horrific shooting in Moncton, N.B. has put the city under a virtual lockdown, closing down schools and establishments and disrupting services.

The attack, which left three Mounties dead and two injured, also set off a manhunt for the gunman, who police identified as 24-year-old Justin Bourque. Bourque has still not been located.

On Thursday morning, the RCMP asked residents in the area around Pinehurst — where police are focusing search efforts — to stay indoors.
