Chris Hadfield's Song With Emm Gryner 'So Easy' Is Really Down To Earth

WATCH: Chris Hadfield's New Song Is Really Down To Earth

Chris Hadfield may be almost as famous for his singing as his orbiting. But since the song that made the beloved astronaut go viral, a zero gravity cover of David Bowie's "Space Oddity," has been taken offline, it was up to the Canadian hero to come up with an original.

And so he hooked his shuttle to Canadian singer-songwriter Emm Gryner, a longtime friend and fellow resident of Sarnia, ON. The pair came up with "So Easy," a mellow acoustic tune off Gryner's new album "Torrential" which now has an equally easy-going music video shot at Hadfield's cottage where they told the Globe & Mail they also wrote it.

"My parents' cottage has been a sanctuary for life, and it's where I learned to play the guitar, growing up," Hadfield said to the Globe, adding that while he has a few other musical projects on the go, he's not planning a music career. "I have way too much respect for the musical talent out there to start to think I could move into that."
