Last week Deadmau5 was caught speeding in his "Purrari" during a rally race in France and was forced to let his racing partner get behind the wheel. This week he's letting somebody else get behind the vehicle of his Nyan Cat-decorated ferrar for good as he's selling it.
Uproxx.com and noted music historian Alan Cross reports Deadmau5 placed the Craigslist ad (which has since been removed) on June 16 with the "Purrari" being sold for $380,000. The custom built car is a 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider with a Nyan Cat displayed on the car.
UPDATE: Deadmau5 has now posted the car for sale on Autotrader Canada.
"Selling the majestic Purrari...asking 380k OBO ... anything over 380 goes to charity, so get those bids in! (Toronto Humane Society)," the post read. "...comes with Ipod full of nyancat songs. And we will personally invite the buyer to Toronto to come and film a "farewell purrari" coffee run with me. :D (so basicly it comes with a free tim hortons coffee that youll have to pay for anyway) we will ship this thing anywhere in north america. um... also... car stuff... it has like 6500 miles on it... purrs like a nyancat. and can be fully factory restored (wrap removed) if you're a p***y."

Musicians And Their Expensive Toys
Later in the day Deadmau5 tweeted about his frustration in seeing the post removed by Craigslist and asking another outlet if they could help:
Meanwhile this morning, Deadmau5 -- who also released the vinyl version of his new studio album today -- tweeted a link of a YouTube video showing him hitting 168 miles per hour in the "Purrari." The video was shot on a runway tarmac at Glasgow's Prestwick Airport and shows Deadmau5 driving down the tarmac. "That was f--kin' awesome, fastest land speed Nyan Cat record 168 miles an hour...," Deadmau5 says in the clip.
The musician later tweeted he wasn't able to reach top speed (over 200 miles per hour) as the runway was only 2 km long, not the 3 km needed to get it up to maximum speed.
