"Thelma & Louise" may have been released 23 years ago, but this selfie will never get old.
Actress Susan Sarandon (Louise) posted an awesome photo of herself and former co-star Geena Davis (Thelma) with the caption, "Inventors of the #selfie at it again. #ThelmaAndLouise," on Thursday. The snap featured a split-screen with the iconic movie still at the top and the recreated pic at the bottom.
Sarandon, 67 and Davis, 58, took the selfie while donning white dress shirts, pink and berry lips with their hair down — however, we really wish a pair of sunglasses and a scarf had been involved instead.
According to US weekly, both actresses have seen each other from time to time since their 1991 blockbuster hit. In 2013, they were also both spotted on the red carpet at the annual "Beyond Hunger" event in Los Angeles.
Both women look just as gorgeous today as they did when they starred together in the '90s classic.
