Brazil can breathe a sigh of relief after the World Cup host country defeated Colombia 2-1 on Friday, securing their place in the tournament’s semifinals.

And it’s all thanks to Brazilian defender David Luiz, who scored an epic free-kick goal right past Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina at the 69-minute mark – an impressive feat considering the 35-yard distance between the ball and net.
