When we found out that Jessica Simpson's wedding dress was designed by Carolina Herrera, we knew we were in for a treat.
People magazine has the exclusive photos of the singer's gown and it's totally a sparkle lover's dream dress.
Rather than go for a dress with a slim silhouette to show off her toned figure, the 33-year-old mom opted for a traditional champagne and gold strapless ballgown with thick layers of tulle covered in sparkly embroidery.
Simpson's hair stylist Roque Jimenez told the mag that Simpson wanted a look that was, "sexy, easy and ethereal" and "nothing too contrived."
The businesswoman paired her stunning custom dress and delicate veil with Neil Lane diamond earrings and light pink makeup.
The entire look left husband Eric Johnson speechless.
"I saw my gorgeous wife coming towards me and she was crying," said Johnson, who wore a custom charcoal gray John Varvatos tuxedo. "I think my heart was exploding a little bit."
The couple married on July 5 in front of 275 guests at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. This is both Simpson's and Johnson's second marriage; the pop star married Nick Lachey in 2002, wearing a strapless beaded number with an 11-carat pavé diamond headband. The pair divorced in 2006.
