The exhibit opened Tuesday at the McCulloch House Museum and Heritage Centre.
Artifacts and interpretive panels in Gaelic and English tell the story of the arrival of the Scottish Gaels in Nova Scotia, their language and culture.
The exhibit is a joint project between the provincial government, the Nova Scotia Museum and design students at the Nova Scotia Community College.
Gaelic Affairs Minister Randy Delorey says it's hoped the exhibit will lead to a better understanding and appreciation of Gaelic culture.
The exhibit will be open to the public until Sept. 5.Suggest a correction
