Pedestrian struck in Markham collision

A vehicle struck a pedestrian in Markham on Tuesday night, police in York Region say.

An ambulance was called after a person was injured in a collision near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Markham Road.

By 11 p.m., police had released few details about the crash. They are referring to the case as a “motor vehicle injury.”
