A 14-year-old girl and a 23-year-old man were killed and more than 20 people were wounded in the violence on Danzig Street.
As the community marks the second anniversary today, residents insist the neighbourhood isn't a bad one, it just happened to be a place where something terrible took place.

Police have said the shooting was triggered when members of the Galloway Boys gang allegedly took ownership of a barbecue and turned away a member of the rival Malvern crew.
That person then allegedly returned to the gathering with a number of friends to confront the Galloway Boys, sparking the shootout.
