A van careened into two ground-floor apartments in Abbotsford, B.C. early Friday, but remarkably no one was seriously injured.
Abbotsford police said firefighters had to remove the trapped driver of the van, who was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She may have suffered a medical issue just before the 3 a.m. crash, but speed is also being considered in the investigation, said Const. Paul Walker.
The people living in the units on Countess Street were "extremely shaken" but not hurt, said Walker.
The building has been evacuated as a precaution due to structural damage.
