Will Bieber's Beer Bring Booze Ban To Celeb-Owned Bootsy Bellows Bar?

Will Bieber's Beer Bring Booze Ban To Bar?

Justin Bieber might have put David Arquette in hot water for drinking a cold beer at the actor's Hollywood club earlier this week.

TMZ reports Bieber -- who was partying with Chris Brown at the West Hollywood club Bootsy Bellows -- was seen holding a Heineken at some point during the night. However, the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is aware that at least one minor (under 21 years old) was drinking which could cause the club to be fined.

It's conceivable Bieber simply made a faux pas as the legal age limit for drinking is different in the U.S. than Canada where the legal age is 19. However, law enforcement officials have told the outlet they're planning on increasing undercover operations at the club to ensure the rules are followed and enforced. The infraction might also put the venue's liquor license in jeopardy although it's unclear how drastic or stern the punishment would be. Bootsy Bellows is allowed to have people under 21 in their club. They just can't have them drinking in it.

According to its official site the club is located "on the infamous Sunset Strip in West Hollywood" and is named after Arquette's mother, "a burlesque dancer and pinup model in her time...." Arquette founded the club along with business moguls John Terzian and Brian Toll. The venue, which hasn't commented on the incident, is home to disc jockeys, burlesque dancers and "impromptu concerts."

The club did tweet how pleased it was to have Bieber at its establishment:

Bieber hasn't commented on the incident however he managed to surprise many earlier today as manager Scooter Braun posted a tweet and Instagram showing Bieber, touring guitarist Dan Kanter and guitarist Andrew Watt jamming on a Phish song. "Cool studio moment watching @justinbieber @dankanter @andrew50watt jam to PHISH," Braun, who was recently married, wrote. "Only thing missing was my ukulele :) #moreukulele"

As for Kanter, yesterday seemed to be a trying travel day:
