Forget the princess gown— cool celebrity brides are saying "yes" to nontraditional wedding dresses, and we couldn't be happier.
More and more, celebs are ditching traditional looks in favour of unexpected and sometimes even quirky frocks (ahem, Olivia Palermo) that look amazing in their wedding photos (and on the front pages of magazines).
Take Canadian babe Pamela Anderson, perhaps the most unconventional bride ever, who wed Kid Rock in 2006 wearing a white string bikini.
Other stars who sported unique (albeit more covered up) looks include Gwen Stefani, Jessica Biel, Reese Witherspoon and Anne Hathaway, who all wore pink-hued dresses.
But not all celeb brides favoured pink: Canadian actress Shenae Grimes wore a black Vera Wang gown at her 2013 nuptials and Portia de Rossi wore a blush-coloured dress when she married Ellen DeGeneres.
Actress Keira Knightley took bridal to the next level when she wore a short Chanel frock that she already owned!
