It's hard not to think of plastic surgery when you think of "Human Barbie" Valeria Lukyanova. Her big, doll-like eyes, razor-sharp cheekbones and slim waist could all be attributed to going under the knife but the Ukrainian-native is trying to combat that assumption by introducing us to her mother.
In a five-second video posted in 2012 and recently rediscoverd by the Internets, the 28-year-old and her mom (who does look a lot like her daughter) look at the camera and twist their heads slowly and robotic-like.
Valeria captioned the video, "In my family, good genes. Do not believe the rumors about plastic surgery. This allowed the gossip from the tabloids."
The blond beauty is used to fielding questions doubting her doll-like looks. Aside from breast enhancement surgery, the model insists that she hasn't had any work done to her body.
"Don’t believe any stories about me having rib-removing surgeries—they aren’t true," she told the Daily Beast last year. "The only surgery I had was the breast surgery. My mother’s waist is as narrow as mine—I inherited that from her."
Valeria has even posted no-makeup selfies to prove the haters wrong.
