Kate Middleton Wears Recycled Dress For Prince George Family Portraits

Kate Recycles Dress For Royal Family Portrait

All eyes were on Prince George's outrageously cute cheeks in the official family portrait released on Monday, but we at HuffPost Canada Style were more interested in his mom's outfit, natch!

To mark the wee prince's first birthday, which falls on Tuesday, July 22, two sweet photos of the young family were made public and they show Prince William, Kate Middleton and their son spending time together at the Sensational Butterflies exhibition at the Natural History Museum, London.

For the special occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge sported an emerald silk tea-length Suzannah “Budding Heart Silk Tea Dress” that featured cap sleeves and a white floral print.

Naturally, being the thrifty Duchess that she is, the Vanity Fair cover girl has worn the frock before, when she stepped off a flight to New Zealand during the Royal Tour. That time, the 32-year-old mum wore the $800 frock under a matching green Erdem peacoat and black pumps.

Clearly, Duchess Catherine knows a good thing when she sees it!
