Apple is counting on huge demand for its iPhone 6, placing the largest orders yet with suppliers, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models of the iPhone 6 will both be larger than the four-inch screens of existing iPhones. Apple has asked its suppliers to prepare between 70 million and 80 million units of the two phone models, considerably more than the 50 to 60 million units ordered in advance of the iPhone 5s and 5C.
