Proof That Canada's And The U.S.'s Sizing Systems Are Whack

It's a common source of anxiety and stress among women: what may be a size 6 (or any size) at one store may be a totally different size at another.

This problem—basically a lack of universal sizing in women's retail stores—creates not only total confusion as to what your actual size is but also can lead to some major body issues; especially when you think you're one size at the Gap only to go up or down a few sizes down the street at Aritzia.

And if you like to go shopping south of the border? Good luck with that.

Reddit user Adasri posted a side-by-side photo of a young woman wearing a size small hoodie bought in the States and a size small hoodie bought in Canada.

The photo basically proves that the sizing systems in Canada and the U.S. are totally whack.
