The federal Liberals are keen to draw the Mike Duffy Senate scandal back into the Prime Minister’s Office.

Liberal MP Geoff Regan is holding a press conference starting at 11 a.m. ET in Ottawa to offer his party’s view on recent developments.

RCMP announced last week that 31 criminal charges, including fraud, breach of trust and bribery, have been laid against the suspended senator.

Although Duffy is charged with corruptly accepting money in his official capacity as a senator, Nigel Wright, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s then chief of staff, has not being charged for providing the $90,172.24 at the centre of the case against Duffy.
