Body Found In Abbeydale Pond

Police are investigating after a body was found in a pond in the Calgary community of Abbeydale Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to a water rescue at the pond, which sits next to Stoney Trail near Aberfoyle Close N.E.

Crews are now determining the best way to retrieve the body.

The age or gender of the person have not been released.

The CPS Homicide Unit has been called in to investigate the death.
