Robin Thicke's public campaign to sell his new album and get his wife Paula Patton back has proven to be a failure on both fronts.
The album, of course, is the biggest bomb in recent memory, selling 550 copies in Canada, 530 copies in the UK and fewer than 54 copies in Australia.
And despite naming the album "Paula," leading with the single "Get Her Back," crying while performing it at the BET Awards and releasing a creeptastic video where he's all beat up and being caressed by some unseen woman, Patton has not, in fact, come back.
And it looks like she may not. The couple's Bel Air home, originally purchased by Robin's dad Alan Thicke back in 1990 according to Variety, was put on the market earlier this week for $2,985,000. They haven't lived under the same roof since they split in February amid infidelity rumours on Robin's part, but the gossip site is now reporting that "Robin Thicke is waving the white flag ... telling people in his camp his marriage to Paula Patton has collapsed."
TMZ reports sources saying that a lawyer is already divvying up assets, though neither have officially hired a divorce lawyer. and that Thicke refuses to be the one who files for divorce.
Oh, and that "he says he's done begging and is moving on." (Just like fans of "Blurred Lines" apparently have.)
