WHAT WE'RE COOKING THIS WEEK: Blueberries

One of summer's favourite fruits (and native to Canada), blueberries go hand-in-hand with everything from oatmeal to dessert to fresh summer salads.

A hundred grams of blueberries have about 57 calories, 2.4 grams of fibre and 16 per cent of your daily intake of vitamin C. And because of their taste and tiny size, you can do everything from grilling to baking to blending your blueberries. Studies have also shown blueberries protect your brain against memory loss and of course, provide antioxidants.

And in case you missed it, last week we packed bananas.
