Spadina/Dundas intersection closes for 2 weeks starting Monday

The intersection of Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street West will be shut down as of Monday, so that needed TTC and watermain construction work can be completed.

The intersection is expected to be closed until Aug. 11.

The temporary closure means that drivers will have to take other routes.

One major change to TTC service will involve the splitting of the 510 Spadina route into two halves while the work is being done over the next two weeks.

One half will run between Spadina station and Baldwin Street, while the other half will operate between Sullivan Street and Queen's Quay.

Passengers needing to go from Baldwin Street to Sullivan Street, or vice-versa, will have to carry a transfer and walk the distance of the gap between the two halves of the service.
