The footage comes via an underwater research drone in Guadalupe Island, Mexico. The robot was part of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution research project, documenting the hunting patterns of Great Whites in the area. Outfitted with six cameras, the robot documented dozens of encounters with the shark, as well as several attacks.
Researchers with the nonprofit organization hope to learn more about the sharks' aggressive natures and hunting strategies through the footage.
