Musicians Pay Tribute Robin Williams, Dead At 63

Musicians Pay Tribute Robin Williams

The death of actor and comedian Robin Williams this afternoon at the age of 63 has shocked us all, including dozens of musicians who took to social media and Twitter to express their condolences.

We've collected some of their condolences, tributes and memories and the sheer diversity of artists, ranging from Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson and Hanson to Ozzy, Flea and Quincy Jones to Deadmau5, The Weeknd, and Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface, is a testament to the vast reach of Robin Williams' art.

Williams' own connections to music ranged from winning five Grammy awards, including one for the peerless "Good Morning Vietnam" soundtrack and singing "Friend Like Me" in the Disney classic "Aladdin" to collaborating with Bobby McFerrin on a cover of The Beatles "Come Together" (above) and co-starring in his once joyful, now tragically ironic "Don't Worry, Be Happy" video (below).

R.I.P.
