Pie Milkshakes Available At This Year's CNE

At this year's Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), 75-year-old diner Fran's is heading a booth for the first time ever, and they're bringing a slew of delicious treats with them -- including pie shakes.

According to BlogTO, chefs from the diner blend slices of their pies into milkshakes to create one sweet shake. Flavours include cheesecake, carrot cake and brownie, but most beloved is their apple pie shake. Unlike typical milkshakes, which typically use syrups to get their flavour, the Fran's pie shake derives flavour directly from the pie, creating a thick (and sugary!) blend.
