A Peterborough, Ont. artist is stunned after a graphic he designed of Robin Williams' most-beloved movie roles blew up online.
Tyler Boyco says he didn't expect a big response after he posted his "minimalist movie poster" of classic Williams characters to his Facebook page Thursday.
Now, not only does the photo have more than 2500 upvotes on Reddit, local news outlet PTBO Canada's tweet of the photo has been retweeted by Rosie O'Donnell.
"I never expected anyone to remotely like it this much," he says.
Boyco says he was very touched by Williams' death.
"He was one of my heroes growing up, it kind of hit home. It was like a favourite uncle dying," he says.
He's now receiving requests to turn his design into a print, but says he hasn't been paid for art before and doesn't know how to go about making prints.
"I have no idea what's happening."
