Puma's Twitter Campaign Goes Very Wrong Indeed (PHOTOS, TWEETS)

LOOK: Puma's Twitter Campaign Goes Very Wrong

Almost as fast as some star athletes can run, tweeters turned Puma's new marketing campaign into a joke.

On Monday, Puma encouraged Twitter users to tweet a photo of their favourite Puma-wearing athlete at the clothing company with the hashtag #Fastergraph to get a sleek, personalized note in return.

Sounds cool, right? But the campaign quickly went south after users changed their usernames to some less-savoury things.

One guy named Mashhour didn't have any luck receiving his own message.

A couple people used Puma's hashtag to create their own #Fastergraphs.

Puma had more luck with the #ForeverFaster hashtag.

Dozens of people are still tweeting at #Fastergraph, without a response from the company.

While it might seem like the joke's on Puma, any promotion is good promotion, right?
