Suge Knight Shot At Chris Brown's Pre-VMAs Party

Famed rap impresario Suge Knight is recovering after being shot multiple times at a West Hollywood nightclub early Sunday, according to TMZ.

The Death Row Records founder was shot six times, according to the Wall Street Journal, while attending a party hosted by rapper Chris Brown at the 1OAK nightclub, where another two people were shot, according to the news outlet. One of the victims is in critical condition.

Knight was able to walk out on his own despite his injuries before being taken to hospital, US Weekly reports.

Eyewitnesses told the magazine that around 1:35 a.m. two shots were fired and people began to run out as security evacuated Brown and others at his table.

In a video posted by TMZ, partygoers can be seen leaving the club with their hands up as police arrive.

One person who was at the event tweeted that she was stunned by the shooting.

Chris Brown tweeted that he was disappointed by what happened.

This isn't the first time Suge, whose full name is Marion Knight, has run into gunfire while at a club. In 2005, Knight was injured after a bullet struck his leg at Miami's Shore Club hotel during a pre-VMAs party hosted by Kanye West, Rolling Stone reports.
