A baby boy born with four arms and four legs is recovering after undergoing a major surgery to remove a parasitic twin attached to his body.
The boy, Paul Mukisa, who was born in Uganda in May, was born with eight limbs and his heart and liver in the wrong locations. Doctors believed his conjoined twin was not full developed, while Mukisa's parents believed their son was a victim of witchcraft.
According to the Daily Mail, the surgery on the now three-month-old boy took three hours at the Mulago Hospital in the Ugandan capital of Kampala.
"The baby was given general anesthesia and the torso and trunk of the parasitic twin -- which had two arms but no head or heart -- was detached from the host baby," Dr. Nasser Kakembo, who led the operation, told CNN.
Doctors did, however, find out the boy shared one body part with his twin. Watch the video above to find out what happened after the surgery.
