Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal closes roads in Outremont, Plateau

The Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal takes place today and that means road closures around Outremont and the Plateau  Mont-Royal boroughs.

Race organizers are urging people to use public transit. For north-south journeys, they recommend using St-Laurent Boulevard or St-Urbain Street.

The following streets will be closed during the race: 

- Parc between des Pins and Mont-Royal West (til 11:59 p.m.)

- Côte-Sainte-Catherine between Parc Avenue and Mont-Royal West (til 11:59 p.m.)

- Côte-Sainte-Catherine from Villeneuve / Maplewood to Mont-Royal (til 5:30 p.m.)

- Côte-Sainte-Catherine from Vincent-D'Indy to Villeneuve / Maplewood (til 5 p.m.)

- Camillien-Houde from Mont-Royal to Remembrance (til 6:30 p.m.)

- Remembrance from Camillien-Houde to Cote-des-Neiges (til 6:30 p.m.)

- De la Tour from Decelles to Chemin de la Polytechnique (til 5 p.m.)

- De la Polytechnique from Chemin de la Tour to Chemin de la Rampe (til 5 p.m.)

- De la Rampe from Chemin de la Polytechnique to Edouard-Montpetit (til 5 p.m.)

- Côte-des-Neiges(east side) from Remembrance to Gatineau (til 5 p.m.)

- Mont-Royal from Côte-Sainte-Catherine to Camillien-Houde (til 5:30 p.m.)

- Vincent D'Indy from Édouard-Montpetit to Cote Sainte-Catherine (til 5 p.m.)

- Édouard-Montpetit from de la Rampe (Louis-Colin) to Vincent D'Indy (til 5 p.m.)

- Gatineau from Côte-des-Neiges to Maréchal (til 5 p.m.)

- Maréchal from Gatineau to Decelles (til 5 p.m.)

- Decelles from Maréchal to de la Tour / Queen-Mary (til 5 p.m)
