Michael Morrissette's remains found near Mount Rundle

The remains of a missing Montreal man have been found in a remote area near Banff.

Michael Morrissette, 21, had been missing since March of 2013, RCMP said on Tuesday.

His remains were found on Sept. 5 in a remote area on the Rundle Range by a search team looking for missing man Ralph Greenaway.

The remains have been identified as Morrissette. Family and police in Quebec have been notified.  

Calgary’s medical examiner is trying to determine how Morrissette died and RCMP in Banff are looking to speak to anyone who knew Morrissette.
