Peel Regional police have arrested three men in connection with a beer truck theft earlier this month, but they're still looking for some of the beer.

The thieves broke into a business on Highway 56 South in Norwich Township near Woodstock at some point overnight between Sept. 10 and Sept.11 and stole a tractor trailer full of Mexican beer worth $25,000, according to Oxford County OPP.

They made off with 600 cases of Sol, 576 cases of Dos Equis Lager and 144 cases of Dos XX Amber Beer.

Police now say they have recovered the truck and trailer, and some of the beer, and say the investigation is ongoing.

Police did not specify how much beer they were able to recover.
