Swans are often respected for their beauty, grace and majestic nature.
But beneath their beautiful veneer lies a spiteful soul willing to lash out at even at the gentlest of souls.
Case in point: One father swan's encounter with Simon Cowell, founder of the Wildlife Aid Foundation, an animal rescues operation in the United Kingdom.
Cowell was called to the scene after one of the mature swan's babies got stuck in a chain-linked fence. Cowell got to work trying to free the trapped bird but rather than stay out of his way, the male swam began hissing and battering the would-be rescuer.
