Edward Foulger, 54, killed in Caledon crash, police say

The victim of a deadly crash in Caledon, Ont., has been identified.

The Ontario Provincial Police say a patrolling officer spotted the aftermath of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 10, south of Charleston Sideroad, at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday.

Initial reports indicated that a pair of "compact cars" collided, leaving one person with serious injuries and another dead at the scene.

Police later identified the deceased as 54-year-old Edward Foulger, of nearby Orangeville, Ont. He had been driving a 2002 Honda Civic.

Police say the surviving driver was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The collision remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Caledon OPP detachment.
