Pedestrian struck in suspected hit-and-run collision

Toronto police are looking for the public's help in the investigation into a suspected hit-and-run collision in the city's north end. 

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue around 7 a.m. Sunday after a female pedestrian was struck by a car.

The vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived, police said. 

Paramedics took the victim to hospital, but 32 Division police said they don't know the extent of the victim's injuries.

Investigators are searching for a beige four-door car in the incident.
