We don't often think of turtlenecks as stylish (Steve Jobs may have had something to do with it) but one socialite has just proved that the iconic piece of clothing can look downright sexy.
On Thursday, Olivia Palermo attended the Barbara Bui and Ninna Ricci shows during Paris Fashion Week wearing a bordeaux pencil skirt and turtleneck, which she accessorized with an oversized metallic statement necklace.
Paired with white heels, a snakeskin clutch, tortoiseshell sunnies and an iPhone, the 28-year-old trendsetter was the epitome of Parisian chic (and all it took was a fabulous necklace and your standard turtleneck).
This isn't the first time the former "The City" star has refused to play by the fashion rulebook. From mixing oversized vests with strapless dresses and pairing unexpected shapes with classic accessories, the newlywed can be counted on to wear something fashion-forward.
