GRAND FALLS, N.B. - A boil water order has been lifted for residents in the New Brunswick town of Grand Falls.

A notice on the town's website says a sample analysis confirms the water meets quality standards.

The advisory was issued earlier this week after town officials say a pipe in one of their wells ruptured and lost pressure.

Mayor Richard Keeley says the Health Department decided to issue the order as a precaution.
