George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin Wow In Post-Wedding Appearance In Venice

LOOK: Newlyweds George And Amal Hit The Venice Canals

In case you missed it, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin tied the knot in Venice on Saturday, in front of celebrity guests like Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and Emily Blunt.

The two-time Sexiest Man Alive and London's "hottest" lawyer (as determined by a British vote in 2013), shook off the public's disbelief of their union and celebrated in style, through a boat ride on Venice's Grand Canal. The couple made it legal at a civil ceremony at Venice City Hall at 1 p.m. local time on Monday.

Dressed for the occasion in an Italian design, Amal glowed in a white, sleeved and embroidered macrame Giambattista Valli dress with floral applique. Though no photos have yet been released of George and Amal's star-studded nuptials, or of the bride's gown, this stunning ensemble is a superb substitute for the official wedding portrait. Plus, they held hands for most of the boat ride. How can you go wrong?
