Rare Bow Used In Hollywood Movies Stolen From B.C. Store

Hollywood Bow Stolen From B.C. Store

Police are looking for a rare bow featured in two Hollywood movies that was stolen from a B.C. store and museum.

Thieves smashed a window to break into Boorman Archery in New Westminster on Friday morning and stole eight bows, reported CBC News.

One was built for actress Jessica Biel in "Blade Trinity" and was also used by Jennifer Garner in "Elektra." It's worth about $5,000, according to CTV News.

The total value of the bows is estimated at $200,000 but store owner Ron Boorman told Global News that some were handmade and others were collected over 40 years.

He said one stolen crossbow is unsafe because it has a bad trigger and could injure someone who tries to use it.

Security footage shows the thieves fleeing with the weapons in a grey or blue minivan, reported Global.
