YORKTON, Sask. - A Saskatchewan man has been found not criminally responsible in the death of a woman in March 2011.

Richard Lesann had been charged in the death of Tammy Kulaway whose body was found on a property near Springside, northwest of Yorkton.

RCMP had first been called about a possible stabbing.

Lesann was tracked down a short time later and arrested.

On Tuesday, Lesann was found not criminally responsible in the death due to a mental disorder.

Mounties say Lesann and Kulaway knew each other.
