Meatball Recipes: 5 Ways To Make Spaghetti's Best Friend

Meatball Recipes Every Spaghetti Dish Needs
i am a food blog

There's just something satisfying about our favourite type of meat (or vegetarian protein) rolled up and fried into little bite-sized balls. And although it's hard to imagine plates of plain spaghetti and sauce without the addition of meatballs, they can also be made into tiny bite-sized appetizers or supersized as entree dishes.

And because they can be made with just about any type of meat and non-meat, you can make everything from turkey meatballs to oat and soy meatballs to ones with classic ground beef. According to calorie counting website fatsecret, a medium size beef meatball has about 57 calories, 3.69 grams of fat and 3 grams of protein.

Meatballs aren't considered the most nutritious side dish, but you can easily make them healthier by using lean meat and fresh herbs and spices.
