ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - Child-pornography charges have been laid against a 58-year-old man from British Columbia's Fraser Valley.

Danial Munroe of Abbotsford has been charged with possessing, distributing and making child pornography available.

Const. Ian MacDonald says Abbotsford police began their investigation in June and executed a search warrant in early September at a local residence.

He says police seized computers, phones, cameras, hard drives and storage devices.

Munroe has been released from custody and must not have contact with anybody under 18 or attend public places where they'll be present.

He's not allowed to possess any electronic devices that can access the Internet, communicate with others known to be involved in child exploitation or access pornography of any kind.
