"Saturday Night Live" (SNL) comedienne Jan Hooks has died.
The 57-year-old actress passed away in New York City after living with a serious illness, TMZ reported.
Hooks had been a member of the late night comedy show's cast from 1986 to 1991, said NBC News.
She is best known for hilarious impressions of personalities such as Sinead O'Connor, Hillary Clinton, Jodie Foster and Kathie Lee Gifford.
The "Coneheads" star was also famed for playing one of the Sweeney Sisters, alongside fellow cast member Nora Dunn.
Hooks would go on to star on CBS sitcom "Designing Women" as well as "3rd Rock from the Sun" and "30 Rock," where she played Jenna Maroney's (Jane Krakowski's) mother, Verna.
She also voiced Manjula, wife of Kwik-E-Mart owner Apu Nahasapeemapetilon on "The Simpsons."
Canadian actress Nia Vardalos shared her feelings on Hooks' passing, writing:
