Gas prices in Metro Vancouver hit record lows

The price of oil has dropped to $85 a barrel and while it's costing the Canadian economy billions, it also means consumers are getting a break at the pumps.

Prices range from a low of $1.11 cents per litre in Abbotsford to a 125.9 or 126.9 cents a litre in Vancouver, according to fuel price index website GasBuddy.com.

It's been a while since we've seen these prices this low in Vancouver. 

The price of North American oil is now at the lowest price since April of last year, down 20 per cent from recent highs.
