Toronto police have called an 11 a.m. news conference where they are expected to provide an update into the death of Jelena Loncar, the 32-year-old woman shot dead outside a nightclub on Wellington Street in August.

The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, outside the C Lounge nightclub on Wellington Street, located just West of Spadina. Police have said they will present security camera footage at Wednesday's news conference.

Loncar originally from Niagara Falls, was shot once in the chest and died in hospital.

A man, 25, was also shot in the same incident but survived. He was hit five or six times and treated in hospital.

As part of their investigation, police had been searching for security camera footage and photos from that night.
