Puck the Bunny predicts Montreal Canadiens will win home opener

Puck the Bunny has picked the Montreal Canadiens as the winner of tonight's home opener against rival the Boston Bruins.

The owner of this fuzzy Lionhead bunny, Louise Boscardin, admits Puck has a hard time picking the Bruins or the Toronto Maple Leafs over the Habs.

Still, Boscardin told CBC Daybreak on Thursday that he's got a pretty good track record in his three years of predicting games.

Boscardin, 26, became a Habs fan while living in her hometown of Curitiba, Brazil.

She lived in Montreal briefly before moving to Markham, Ont., where she contributes to a Habs fan site called AllHabs.net.

Inspired by Paul the Octopus, the soccer-predicting cephalod, Boscardin turned Puck into a psychic bunny the day she put a tiny Habs jersey on him.

She said Puck's favourite player is Carey Price — because he never hits the puck.

Watch his prediction for tonight's game here.
