STONY PLAIN, Alta. - A man has been charged with second-degree murder following the discovery of human remains along the Yellowhead Highway west of Edmonton.

The remains of 18-year-old Allen Neil Wilson from New Brunswick were discovered last month near Stony Plain.

RCMP say Garrett Micheal Oshvalda, who is 55, was arrested on Friday.

Police say Wilson and Oshvalda knew each other.
