Members of Parliament plan to meet at the National War Memorial this morning to honour fallen soldier Cpl. Nathan Cirillo before parliamentary business resumes, a day after the Ottawa shootings.

Cirillo was shot and killed while standing guard at the war memorial and the tomb of the unknown soldier on Wednesday morning, just before 10 a.m. ET.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is expected to address the House of Commons at 10 a.m.

Other MPs are ready to get back to business.
